MMC Contractors recently celebrated the completion of their building expansion in South Kansas City. The expansion included 33,500 square feet of additional space connected to the 42,000 square foot original building. The new addition includes 42 new office spaces, an expanded fitness center, new employee locker rooms, more warehouse space, training rooms, and conference and meeting areas. The surrounding parking lot adds an additional 78 parking spaces.
MMC Contractors specializes in large, complex mechanical projects, with a comprehensive offering of pre-construction and construction services. They work in some of the nation’s most challenging markets, including healthcare, energy, pharmaceutical, industrial, and commercial markets.
The company plans to hire more employees in all departments and has already filled 15 positions since completing the expansion. Their total workforce count now sits around 100 employees. Future plans call for upgrading services in their fabrication facility, separating services for carbon, stainless steel, and plumbing fabrication.
